Check the product regularly; discontinue use if it is damaged.\n\nThank you for choosing a\nPeg Perego product.\nCar seat\nViaggio Shuttle\n• Approved in accordance with European\nECE\/UN Regulation R129\/03 for\nchildren from 125 to 150 cm tall (aged\napproximately 6 to 12 years).\n• This car seat is a child restraint\nsystem of the i-Size booster cushion\ntype.\nIt has been approved in accordance with\nECE Regulation No. 129 for use on seats\nin vehicles “compatible with i-Size”, as\nspecified by the vehicle manufacturer\nin the owner's manual and\nmaintenance instructions.\n• The car seat may only be used in\napproved vehicles equipped with a\nthree-point seat belt approved in\naccordance with ECE\/UN Regulation\nR16 or an equivalent standard.\n• IMPORTANT: use of a two-point or\nlap belt is not permitted.\n   WARNING\n• Read the instructions carefully before\nuse and keep them in a suitable place\nfor future reference. Failure to install\nthe car seat correctly may endanger\nthe child.\n• Ensure that the three-point seat belt\nused to secure the car seat is always\ntight and not twisted.\n• Ensure that the lap belt is positioned\nas low as possible to properly secure\nthe pelvis.\n• Do not use the car seat if it is damaged\nor missing parts, if it is second-hand,\nor if it has been subjected to severe\nstress in an accident, as it may have\nhidden but extremely dangerous\nstructural damage.\n• Do not use accessories that have not\nbeen approved by the manufacturer\nor the relevant authorities. Do not\nmake any modifications to the product.\n• Do not leave the car seat in a vehicle\nexposed to direct sunlight.\n• Never leave a child unattended in the\ncar seat. Supervise them even while\nthey are asleep.\n• Do not leave a child unattended in a\nvehicle, even for a short time. The\ntemperature inside the car can change\nsuddenly and become dangerous for\nthe child inside.\n• Do not use the car seat without its\nfabric cover. The cover must not be\nreplaced with one that has not been\napproved by the manufacturer, as it is\nan integral part of the car seat and a\nsafety component.\n• The Viaggio Shuttle must be assembled\nand installed by adults, keeping the\nchild away from the product.\n• Never hold a child in your arms or\nplace them outside the car seat while\ntravelling in a vehicle. In the event of\nsudden braking, even at low speed, the\nchild could easily be thrown forward.\n• When adjusting the seat, avoid putting\nyour fingers into the mechanisms.\nEnsure that the moving parts of the\ncar seat do not come into contact with\nthe child's body.\n• In the vehicle, pay particular attention\nto luggage or other objects that could\ninjure a child in the car seat in the\nevent of an accident.\n• Do not use any installation method\nother than those specified. This could\ncause the child to come out of the seat.\n• Never take a child out of the car seat\nwhile the vehicle is moving.\n• Make sure that the car seat is not\nblocked by a moving part of the vehicle\nseat or by a door.\n• If in doubt, contact the manufacturer\nor car seat retailer.\n• This product is identified by a serial\nnumber on the approval label on the\nunderside of the car seat.\n• Do not remove adhesive or sewn-on\nlabels. Doing so may cause the product\nto no longer comply with standards.\n• For repairs, replacement parts or\nproduct information, contact the\nafter-sales service department. Contact\ndetails are provided on the last page\nof this manual.\n• If the car seat is not occupied while in\na vehicle but is attached to the vehicle's\nISOFIX anchors, it may be left in the\nvehicle. If the ISOFIX anchors are not\nin use, they should be removed from\nthe vehicle seat. Otherwise, they could\npose a risk to other passengers in the\nevent of an accident.\n• If the product is second-hand, check\nthat it is the latest model, comes with\nan instruction manual and is fully\nfunctional.
